SKATEBOARDER Magazine's Sunset Rampage Mini-Ramp Contest presented by MATADOR Beef Jerky and co-sponsored by Lakai and Red Bull, is coming to the Standard Hollywood Hotel (8300 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA) on Tuesday, September 28th, from 5p.m. to 10p.m
The invitational contest will showcase fifteen of today's most talented riders as they compete for a piece of $5,000 in cold hard cash broken down to $2,500 for first, $1,500 for second, $1,000 for third place. This unique contest will take place on the pool deck of one of the most famous Hollywood hotels and features a "rider's choice" judging format where the skaters competing will pick their own champions. Free food and drinks will be provided for the event insuring that everyone can either enjoy the skating or relax poolside.
The competition portion of the event begins at 7p.m. Riders have been handpicked and feature a great mix of styles from the likes of Mike Carroll, Sal Barbier, Dylan Rieder, Kenny Anderson, Curren Caples, Leo Romero, Andrew Reynolds, Eric Koston and Lance Moutain.
